  Penticton is a great place to acquire fresh food, but mainly during the summer. The summer provides locals with an abundance of freshly picked fruit and vegetables, but only a number of stores will continue to sell free produce throughout the winter. Whole Foods Market is very reliable: A large variety of organic, locally grown products can be bought throughout the year and the staff are always quite friendly.

  Love coming here for healthy snacks and grab groceries, while my girlfriend is strictly gluten free and allergic to most foods, we love how we can have everything in store, we discovered this store last year and we've never shopped anywhere else. Also the little cafe in store is a great place to enjoy fresh made goodies.

  WFMP pulled an "Air Miles" by adding an expiry on their customer rewards points (though Air Miles eventually retracted this expiry due to a huge backlash).  I spoke with the Manager, who reassured me that there was plenty of notice before they expired in November, and that that they sent out multiple emails to their 8,000 person client base.  "Those who didn't have email addresses received a $20 voucher in the mail, even if their point tally was worth less than that."   He repeated this slower (I guess for me to understand?) while I repeated that it's a slap in the face to create an expiry on points that my wife and I literally accumulated by reciting a phone number to the cashier every single time we bought even a handful of bananas.   May I make a suggestion?  If someone has shopped at your store for 10 years, how about points (from the failed rewards program) expire after 10 years...or 2 years...or never?   Sorry, I didn't read your emails.  I've come to realize i don't care if I save 20% on something your competitors already charge less for.  I believe 100% in buying local, ethically produced, and organic when possible, food, which I get at the Farmers Market between April and December, and which is why I hadn't been to WFMP since you announced the points expiry.   You've made it clear by citing your 8000 person email list that you don't need my business.  After all, it's more important to point out my failure to understand your logic, right?
